Arsenal star delivers Twitter message to fans after suffering season-ending injury
By Danny Wright
Jack Wilshere has remained defiant despite being ruled out for the rest of the season with a fractured leg.
The Arsenal star, who is currently on loan at Bournemouth, was forced off in Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to Tottenham after blocking a powerful Harry Kane shot.
On Wednesday, Bournemouth announced on their official club website that Wilshere suffered a hairline fracture in his left fibula.
The 25-year-old was sent to the south coast in order to prove his match fitness after his career has been plagued by various injury problems.
He has remained fully-fit throughout the season until his trip to White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Wilshere made 27 appearances for the Cherries during his loan spell. He failed to score but managed to provide two assists.
The 34-times England international has made 160 appearances for Arsenal throughout his career in all competitions.
He leaves his Bournemouth side 16th in the Premier League standings and, despite their lowly position, they look set to avoid relegation provided they don’t suffer a major dip in form.
Eddie Howe’s side are seven points clear of the bottom three with five games to play.
