Arsenal star duo join casualty list – fans devastated by ‘sickening’ update
Arsenal supporters are concerned about the status of Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka after Mikel Arteta’s latest update on their health.
The Arsenal boss told Sky Sports, “They don’t look very good to be fair, they both couldn’t finish the game so not good.”
Both men were able to start the 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday (10 November), but neither were able to last the full 90 minutes due to fitness issues.
The Gunners have been dealt several major injury blows throughout this season with Martin Odegaard and Saka having missed games due to issues, with this being a problem that Arteta has been open about.
Rice played through the pain barrier against Chelsea after missing Arsenal’s fixture against Inter Milan after suffering a broken toe.
Rice and Saka are slated to join their England teammates for the upcoming international break, but it remains to be seen if they will be fit enough to do so.
Arsenal fans are becoming worried about their consistent injury issues
Supporters have demanded they both get pulled from international duty over the issues, with others claiming that the team is “collapsing” and that someone has “put a juju” on the squad.
