Arsenal news: Medical expert reveals if Ben White will play v Tottenham after 'decisive' update
Arsenal star Ben White could start on his return from injury against Tottenham on Thursday (12 May).
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
White, 24, has been an ever-present when available this term but was forced to miss the Gunners’ last two matches with a tight hamstring.
As quoted by club media on Wednesday (11 May), Mikel Arteta revealed that White is “still a doubt” but is “feeling much better” ahead of the North London derby.
Arsenal will seal Champions League qualification with a victory at Tottenham.
And Dinnery forecasts that White will be available for the crucial crunch match after the “decisive” update on his condition.

“We are at that stage of the season where there is a lot on the line,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“There is that Champions League carrot dangling in front of them. He will want to be a part of that first XI.
“They have done well in picking up results without him in the team. But that Spurs front three, that is world class. Arteta would feel a lot more comfortable and confident if he was in that backline.
“He hasn’t had a significant time out, so it won’t be that he is lacking much sharpness. His own state of mind will be decisive too. As long as he gets a couple of full sessions in, I think Arteta starts him.”
White joined Arsenal from Brighton in a £50million move last summer.
He has featured 36 times in all competitions this term.
