Arsenal tipped to swoop for Premier League 24-year-old as well as Ben White
Kevin Campbell has tipped Arsenal to turn their attentions to signing Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma once they tie up a deal for Anderlecht’s Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker revealed he is ‘excited’ about the prospect of Lokonga, 21, moving to the Emirates after what he’s heard.
This site revealed on 21 June that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the Belgium Under-21 international and are currently negotiating a fee with Anderlecht.
According to Fabrizio Romano (24 June), the centre-midfielder has his heart set on a move to north London this summer.
Lokonga has two years remaining on his contract in Belgium.
Campbell expects him to be one of multiple midfield arrivals at the Emirates this summer with Bissouma, 24, a potential target.

“I can’t say I know Lokonga particularly well,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“He is young and I’ve heard he is very talented so it sounds like a good deal. He is a player I will have to do some more research on.
“Lokonga has first team experience so he can come in and be a part of the first team squad.
“Arteta needs to get the balance of the squad right. He needs to bring in some exciting young players like Lokonga as well as some more experienced players.
“I think we will mix and match our signings and I still think there is a chance of Bissouma coming in, as well as Ben White.
“Arsenal have to go for it this summer. They need to use this as a building block. Arsenal cannot afford not to be in Europe next season.”
