Arsenal’s Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka react to Gabriel Jesus’ ‘one more’ message
Arsenal could be handed a major boost after striker Gabriel Jesus handed Mikel Arteta a positive injury update.
The Gunners kicked off pre-season with a 1-0 win over AC Milan in Singapore, with Bukayo Saka netting the only goal of the game.
New signings Kepa, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard all featured in the contest, whilst Viktor Gyokeres could join Arsenal on the tour, as the striker is close to signing from Sporting Lisbon.
Arteta’s side will next face fellow Premier League club Newcastle United in Asia, before playing North London rivals Tottenham.

Jesus hands Arsenal boost ahead of season return
Taking to Instagram, Jesus has hinted that a return is close from an anterior cruciate ligament tear he sustained against Manchester United in January.
The Brazilian has been hit with injury issues in his spell at Arsenal since signing from Manchester City in 2022.
Jesus posted pictures of him in the gym with the caption: “One more,” with flexing bicep, praying and football emoji’s.
Arsenal team mates including Declan Rice and Saka liked the post.
Jesus dilemma amid Gyokeres arrival
Football Insider Verdict
Arteta will welcome a fit again Jesus, but the striker’s place in the team looks uncertain if Gyokeres, as expected, joins the club.
Gyokeres will become Arsenal’s number one striker and with Kai Havertz also in reserve, Jesus may find his chances to cement his position back in the starting line-up limited.
The 28-year-old made a positive impact when he first joined the club, and his quality may prove to be beneficial from the bench or in cup competitions for Arteta.

The Spaniard is adding depth to his attacking options this summer with the signing of winger Noni Madueke from Chelsea and Gyokeres’ impending arrival.
Jesus can play across the attack, so his return may mean Arteta does not feel he needs to dip back into the transfer market.
Real Madrid winger Rodrygo has been a target, but the Brazilian may now stay in Spain following an injury to Endrick.
Eberechi Eze has also been linked from Crystal Palace, and Arsenal are still pursuing a move for the 27-year-old.
The Gunners have missed out on the Premier League title for the past three seasons, and Arteta does not want to face the same fate again.
