Aston Villa aim to repeat Morgan Rogers success as discussions begin for Ibrahim Mbaye
Aston Villa have been linked with Ibrahim Mbaye ahead of the summer transfer window.
The PSG winger has played numerous times this campaign for the Ligue 1 champions, and will be looking to win the Champions League on Saturday.
Now, according to Topmercato on 26 May, Villa have opened talks with the 18-year-old ahead of a potential move.
Mbaye is open to a summer sale, and the deal could be worth as much as £34.64million.
While Mbaye may not be ready to immediately enter Villa’s starting XI if he is signed, Unai Emery may be aiming to push him down the same path as Morgan Rogers.

It is clear that the youngster has bundles of potential, and while he might not be the direct replacement for Rogers, Emery may be looking to develop him in a similar fashion.
The manager managed to turn Rogers from a relatively unknown Middlesbrough star into one of the Premier League’s best players.
Now, Emery is surely aiming to repeat this process with Mbaye, who could become the next big star at Villa Park if the club are able to get the transfer over the line in the coming weeks.
