Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to McCormack axe v Leeds
By Dominic Toner
Ross McCormack was dropped to the Aston Villa bench on Thursday night against Leeds – and the club’s supporters expressed their anger on Twitter with the decision.
The 30-year-old is one of three changes to the Villa starting line-up as Steve Bruce leaves out McCormack, Gary Gardner and Albert Adomah dropped out from the team.
Ashley Westwood, Jack Grealish and Jordan Ayew were recalled to the starting XI for the Championship clash and will hope to impress.
Villa have won three of their last four games and will move up to eighth in the league table with a win on Thursday night.
The Midlands giants secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Burton in their last match and McCormack scored the winning goal in the 78th minute.

Westwood was always gonna come in for Gardner if he wasn't 100% so why is everyone so shocked? I am however shocked at McCormack..

McCormack is yet to establish himself as a regular starter this season and the competition in attack is extremely fierce.
The forward has made 18 appearance across all competitions and completed 90 minutes on just five occasions.
He has also scored just three goals this season and was expected to provide a greater goal threat following his £12million arrival in the summer from Fulham.
