Aston Villa will hold talks this week over a “lethal” new forward signing, sources have told Football Insider.

The Midlands giants are continuing a huge summer overhaul as the club prepares for Champions League football, and an attacker is high on the agenda for Unai Emery.

The Villa boss and the club’s recruitment chief Monchi both are working on recruiting a “lethal” attacker who can play wide and down the middle.
