BBC pundit hails 'magnificent' Rangers Jan signing who was 'destined' for Premier League

BBC pundit Tam McManus has raved about imminent Rangers signing Greg Docherty, calling the player “magnificent”.
The BBC Sportsound analyst went on to say that he thought the player was destined for the Premier League and that it was “unbelievable business”  that Rangers got him for £600,000.
McManus posted his opinion on his personal Twitter page ahead of the official confirmation of the deal.

Docherty was pictured earlier today at Ibrox (12.14pm) ahead of his expected move later on Thursday.
The player should be available for Ranger’s next Premiership game against Ross County on Sunday.
Football Insider verdict:
Big talk from McManus and it will leave Rangers fans excited to see him in the Royal Blue shirt on Sunday. The deal hasn’t been officially rubber-stamped but with the player undergoing his medical this morning, we’re expecting to see the player paraded at Ibrox before the day is out. McManus talks about seeing him “run over the top of a very good John McGinn” and that’s exactly the sort of player that Rangers fans want at their club. Graeme Murty is quickly moving himself into the Rangers manager job on a permanent basis.
