Newcastle should abandon plans of making a late move to sign Osmanlispor winger Badou Ndiaye but continue to use the top tier of Turkish football as a scouting pool.
Sky Sports transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol claimed on his personal Twitter account that Newcastle were expected to make a late move for the 26-year-old speed machine.
This comes after West Ham are said to be confident of completing a deal to sign the Senegal international, but Euro giants Galatasaray’s lure of European football could see his head sway.

The Toon have completed a handful of signings this summer, in Florian Lejuene, Christian Atsu, Jacob Murphy and Javier Manquillo, but need more quality and depth in their squad.
