Benjamin Sesko replaces Bryan Mbeumo: Man United predicted XI vs Bournemouth

Benjamin Sesko could return to Manchester United‘s starting eleven as they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday night.

Sesko bagged his fifth goal in seven games last time out as Man United beat Aston Villa 3-1 to bolster their Champions League qualification hopes.

Casemiro and Matheus Cunha had put the Red Devils in front twice before at Old Trafford, and they now travel to Bournemouth for their last league match before the international break.

Michael Carrick has now won seven of his nine games in charge since taking over until the end of the season in January, with the Red Devils currently sitting third in the top flight.

Man United’s next match after this is not until 13 April against Leeds, so Carrick is set to go strong once again, with Football Insider predicting the eleven that he could put out against the Cherries.

Benjamin Sesko reinstated in Man United predicted XI for Bournemouth

Senne Lammens has been a safe pair of hands for United this season, and should start at the Vitality Stadium as their clear first choice keeper.

Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw should retain their respective places at right and left-back, while Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro look likely to stay at centre-back, with Matthijs De Ligt and Lisandro Martinez both still injured.

Casemiro has been in fine form since Carrick’s arrival, much like Kobbie Mainoo, with both set to start alongside each other in midfield for the ninth game in a row.

Amad was a threat on the right flank last time out and so could stay in the starting eleven against Bournemouth, with Bruno Fernandes and Cunha also due to keep their respective places in the front four.

As opposed to Sesko’s stellar recent showings, Bryan Mbeumo has not scored in any of his last five United matches, and so the Slovenian could be handed a starting berth up front for this clash.

How to watch Bournemouth vs Man United

Sources have told Football Insider that Sesko wants Carrick to land the United job, and another goal to take the Red Devils to victory against Bournemouth will certainly aid the chances of that happening.

The game takes place at the Vitality Stadium on Friday, 20 March, with kick-off set for 8pm.

Those in the UK will be able to watch the match on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League, as well as Sky Sports+ and NOW TV, with live coverage starting at 7:30.
