'Best player', 'Rafa logic' - Newcastle fans fume at this Benitez decision for clash v Arsenal
Newcastle United fans are disappointed with manager Rafa Benitez’s decision to drop striker Dwight Gayle for the Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has scored in the recent matches against Leicester, Chelsea and Manchester United, but has been dropped from the startling line-up, with Benitez favouring the much-criticised Joselu.
Benitez made five changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Everton at St James’ Park on Wednesday.
Newcastle supporters were furious with the decision from the Spaniard and took to social media to react to the news.

If the Magpies drop points at the Emirates Stadium and West Ham United win against Stoke, they will fall into the bottom-three.
Benitez has never won away at Arsenal in the Premier League in six attempts and will be hoping to finally end that record this afternoon.
However, his side do not have a great record against the Gunners over recent seasons. Newcastle have lost each of their last nine Premier League games against them, conceding 22 goals and scoring just six.
The Magpies have not beaten Arsene Wenger’s side since a Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium in November 2010, with striker Andy Carroll scoring the game’s only goal.
In other Newcastle United news, the club are to join the chase for this highly-rated attacker, according to a report.
