Betting latest: Aston Villa firm favourites to sign 78-time international

Aston Villa are the firm favourites to sign Chelsea centre-back John Terry this summer, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor has Steve Bruce’s Midlands giants priced at 2/5 favourites to sign the 36-year-old before the transfer deadline.
Close rivals Birmingham trail in second at 6/1, while Premier League side Bournemouth are priced in third with odds of 10/1.
Terry has been heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa this summer with his contract at Chelsea set to expire at the end of June following 22 years at the club.
The BBC reported on Friday that Villa would now wait until next week for a decision from the Premier League veteran after making a contract offer.
However, it is also detailed that many more offers have been made to the former Chelsea captain, including one from fierce rivals Birmingham.
Terry is currently hot property despite his age given that he has played 492 times in the Premier League.
He has also captained Chelsea to five Premier League trophies, five FA Cups, three League Cups, one Champions League and one Europa League win during a glittering career.
He also enjoyed some success at international level, winning 78 caps for England alongside being named captain in the summer of 2008 before retiring in 2012.
