Rangers are second favourites to re-sign Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam this summer, according to the latest bookmaker odds.
Sky Bet has priced the Light Blues at 5/1 to snap up the 31-year-old this summer as Pedro Caixinha aims to make a host of changes in his squad.
The bookmakers have Championship outfit Cardiff as favourites at 3/1 while Huddersfield, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest are also in the running but at much longer odds.
Adam left Rangers in 2009 for Blackpool after a successful loan spell at the English outfit.
He helped the Seasiders earn promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history as he scored in the 2009/10 Championship play-off final against Cardiff, who he is favourite to sign for seven years later.
The midfielder was then signed by Liverpool for £6.75million, but spent just one year on Merseyside before switching to Stoke in August 2012.
Adam scored 15 goals in 76 appearances during his spell with Rangers after rising through the ranks of their youth academy.
He was sent out on loan three times during his Ibrox development, enjoying temporary spells at Ross County and St. Mirren before switching to Blackpool.
Rangers are expected to make big changes to their squad this summer and have already announced four new arrivals ahead of their Europa League campaign beginning later this month.
In other Rangers news, a former international boss has had his say on this striker reportedly on his way to Ibrox.
