'Doing brilliant' - Caixinha gives verdict on Rangers 21-year-old summer signing
By Harvey Byrne
Manager Pedro Caixinha has claimed that young forward Alfredo Morelos is “doing brilliant” following his move from HJK in the summer.
The 21-year-old was a slight unknown following his £1million move to Glasgow with his career beforehand being spent in home country Colombia and Finland with HJK.
However, his goal record in Finland which saw him bag 46 goals in 62 matches in total alongside coach Jonatan Johansson’s recommendation saw the Ibrox giants take a risk in bringing him in for a seven-figure fee.
He has since played five times in total for Rangers, bagging three goals and in his Thursday press conference Caixinha hailed the youngster for his fighting attitude.
The manager’s quotes were covered by the official Rangers Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.
