Daniel Candeias is extremely underrated. A great find by Caixinha. He didn’t get much right but at 650k he’s been top class.

Havent seen any of these Rangers Diehards show any sort of fight or passion they have for the club. Wish Candeias bled blue. Guy isnt the best footballer but fights for everything. Love the wee lad

As for the match itself, most of the best chances in the first-half fell to Partick Thistle, with Conor Sammon coming close to scoring on three occasions.
In the second-half Tavernier had an effort saved by Cerny after good link-up play with Murphy.
The left-back then made it 2-0 in the 59th minute, curling a shot into the top corner of the net.
Despite some more pressure from the Ibrox side, they were unable to add to their lead and seemed satisfied to hold on to their lead and keep the Jags at arms length.
The victory took the Gers three points behind Aberdeen in the battle for second place in the Scottish Premiership.
