Bruno Fernandes: Big update on Man United star’s future – sources
Bruno Fernandes is not happy with the way the season has gone at Manchester United amid speculation over his future at the club.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Fernandes would consider his options this summer if he was no longer wanted at Old Trafford.
However, O’Rourke insisted he does not believe Fernandes will leave the club this summer as he remains one of the best and most important members of the squad.
This comes after the Man United captain refused to rule out a move away, although Football Insider reported that the club are not worried about interest from elsewhere.

Fernandes has recorded ten goals and seven assists in the Premier League this season, an increased number from his eight goals and eight assists last season, despite United’s poor displays.
With 13 league defeats so far, including the most recent 4-0 loss at Selhurst Park, the captain’s frustrations echo those felt by the supporters.
However, his responsibility as captain of Man United, with the team relying on him as an influence on and off the pitch, will be to help return the club to its former glories.
As O’Rourke revealed, it is unlikely United would allow Fernandes to leave the club this summer even if they do not qualify for Europe.
Since joining the club in 2020, the Portuguese has been heavily criticised at times, with Frank McAvennie telling Football Insider that his petulance would have an effect on the younger players at Old Trafford.
However, the captain remains one of the only players to provide consistently impressive performances despite the overall disappointment.
If he were to leave this summer, the club would be forced into the transfer market to find a replacement.
