Bruno Fernandes mocks Man United ace Leny Yoro ahead of Nottingham Forest clash
Bruno Fernandes has poked fun at his Man United teammate Leny Yoro on social media ahead of their Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest.
The French defender has endured a difficult first season in Manchester, having joined from Lille in a £52million [BBC Sport] deal last summer.
Yoro was viewed as one of world football’s best young defenders prior to signing, but has struggled to nail down a starting spot under either Erik ten Hag or Ruben Amorim in his first year at the club.
Yoro started Man United’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal prior to the international break, but was forced off at half-time due to an injury, allowing Ayden Heaven to impress in the Frenchman’s place.
However, the 19-year-old remains focused on improving and reclaiming his spot in Amorim’s side, as showcased by a new post on social media.

Leny Yoro posts ‘silent gains’ message to Man United fans
Ahead of the Red Devil’s clash with high-flying Forest, Yoro took to Instagram to post both images and a video of himself working out, captioned: “Silent gains”.
Yoro’s captain and teammate, Fernandes, took the opportunity to make a playful dig at his teammate, responding: “Where the gains are?”, with an eyes emoji and a laughing emoji.
Whilst United have suffered a miserable season, currently sitting 13th in the Premier League table, they will be looking to finish strong, starting with their match against Forest on Tuesday (1 April).
Jadon Sancho uncertainty needs addressing ahead of crucial Man United transfer window
Football Insider Verdict
The cancellation fee that has emerged in Jadon Sancho‘s contract will be a concern for United, ahead of an incredibly important summer window.
Amorim is in desperate need of funds to revamp his squad in the summer window, with many of the current players simply not fit for purpose in his 3-4-2-1 system.
Sancho represented a guaranteed £25million pounds, due to the obligatory fee in his loan deal with Chelsea, but the fact that United may miss out on the majority of that fee, could force the club to search for cheaper alternatives in key positions.

In years prior, the lack of a sale likely would have been an inconvenience, but with the Red Devils’ in a desperate financial position, it may cut a massive chunk out of the already limited Man United transfer budget.
Whilst Chelsea seem unlikely to trigger the cancellation clause, the uncertainty surrounding the 26-year-old’s future needs addressing immediately, or else United may be left playing catch-up in their pursuit of key targets.
