Bruno Guimarães, Lewis Hall react to Harvey Barnes’ message after huge Newcastle win

Harvey Barnes sent a message on social media after scoring in Newcastle’s 5-0 win against Crystal Palace at St James’ Park and drew a host of reactions.

Jason Tindall took charge for the second game running in the absence of Eddie Howe, recovering from pneumonia, as Newcastle moved up to third with their fifth consecutive Premier League win.

The hosts were rampant from the first whistle with the in-form Jacob Murphy opening the scoring from an improbable angle before Nick Pope atoned for his clumsy mistake to save Eberechi Eze’s terrible penalty.

Just 98 seconds later, Eze was punished for the causal spot kick when the returning Marc Guehi turned Barnes’ cross into his own net, with the Englishman then going onto score the next.

Fabian Schär and Alexander Isak added Newcastle‘s fourth and fifth either side of half-time to put them into the drivers seat for Champions League qualification.

In a message from Barnes’ official instagram account on Thursday (17 April), the winger posted a series of images from their clash with Crystal Palace with the caption: “DGW32” with a upward trajectory emoji and finished it with “All eyes on Saturday”.

Bruno Guimarães responded to the post with three love heart eyed emoji’s followed by “my guy” as likes flooded in from Joelinton, Kieran Tripper and Lewis Hall.

Harvey Barnes focused on Newcastle’s crucial match against Aston Villa this weekend.
