Bukayo Saka and Harvey Elliott react to Eberechi Eze’s Crystal Palace celebration post
Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has caught the attention of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott with his latest social media post.
Eze played 62 minutes at Anfield as Oliver Glasner’s side held already-crowned champions Liverpool to a 1-1 draw, on the final day of the Premier League season.
Before the game, both teams gave the other a guard of honour, to commemorate Arne Slot’s side winning the league title, and the Eagles’ FA Cup success.
Palace beat Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley to secure their first ever piece of major silverware, with Eze scoring the only goal under the famous arch.

Eze celebrates FA Cup success
Palace’s FA Cup final triumph wasn’t without its controversy, with Dean Henderson handling the ball outside the box as Erling Haaland looked certain to score.
However, in the end, the Eagles were victorious and they commemorated their success with an open-top bus parade around South London.
Eze took to Instagram after the celebrations, posting a number of photos from the day, which showed the streets lined with Palace fans as the players held the FA Cup trophy.
The England international captioned the post with a red heart and a blue heart side by side.
Arsenal winger Saka, who is teammates with Eze on the international stage, liked the post to show his support, as did Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott.
Palace set for Europa League
Football Insider Verdict
After winning the FA Cup, Crystal Palace have qualified for Europe for the first time in their history, and they will participate in the Europa League next season.
There is no reason why Glasner’s side cannot perform well either, as this year’s competition saw a final between Tottenham and Man United, with both sides finishing below Palace in the Premier League.
| Position | Team | Points |
| 12 | Crystal Palace | 53 |
| 13 | Everton | 48 |
| 14 | West Ham | 43 |
| 15 | Man United | 42 |
| 16 | Wolves | 42 |
| 17 | Tottenham | 38 |
The Eagles will have to add depth to their squad to cope with the sheer number of games, but Football Insider exclusively revealed (25 May) that Palace only want to add one or two players to their starting lineup.
The main thing for the south London side is keeping hold of their key men, as Eze is already being linked with a move to Tottenham.
There’s more bad news for Palace fans, as defender Marc Guehi has attracted interest from Chelsea, and with just a year left on his contract, Steve Parish may decide to cash in while he still can.
