Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice react to ‘first test’ message from Arsenal ace Kai Havertz
Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice reacted to a message from Arsenal teammate Kai Havertz on social media.
The German forward was enjoying his best season for the North London outfit last term, before a hamstring injury halted his campaign.
The 26-year-old missed a large chunk of the season and was only able to make 23 appearances in the Premier League, scoring nine times as Mikel Arteta‘s side finished a distant second to Liverpool.
Arsenal have responded by signing Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Gunners are also working on a deal to bring Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres to the Emirates, taking their spending into the region of £150million this summer.

Kai Havertz features for Arsenal in Asia
Arsenal kicked off their pre-season tour of Asia with both a win and a loss against AC Milan in their first game in Singapore.
Yes, they won and lost against the Italian giants. The Gunners claimed a 1-0 victory in normal time, before losing the pre-arranged penalty shoot-out against Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
After the game, Havertz shared an image of himself in Arsenal’s new away shirt on Instagram, captioned: “Good first test in Singapore!”
The post was liked by Saka and Rice, with the pair showing support for their German teammate.
Kai Havertz facing uncertain future at Arsenal
Football Insider Verdict
Havertz’s time at Arsenal has been difficult, as the German has struggled to nail down a consistent role in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI.
However, the 26-year-old has finally found his place as the man leading the line for the Gunners.
But that is now under threat thanks to Gyokeres‘ imminent arrival at the Emirates. And given Arsenal are shelling out a handsome sum of money for the Swede, he isn’t going to be a bench player.
That leaves Havertz in an awkward position. The German could stay and try and duke it out with the former Coventry man, although he will likely struggle to match up with the Sweden international’s goal-scoring output.
Alternatively, the former Chelsea man could look to leave Arsenal this summer, but despite his difficulties in North London, it is unlikely that Arteta will be very receptive to the idea of one of his favourite players leaving.
