'Buzzing', 'Pure class' – Leeds fans react after Twitter message from midfield star

Ronaldo Vieira sent a Twitter message to fans after scoring on his debut for the England Under-21 side – and they’re delighted for the 19-year-old midfielder.

Vieira picked the ball up midway through the opposition half and ran on before unleashing a thunderbolt that hit the back of the net.

The England Under-21s beat Qatar 4-0 in the game at the Toulon tournament on Friday.

Vieira made 28 appearances in the Championship last season but there’s a feeling that he’s just starting to hit his stride.

Playing and scoring for the Under-21s will help boost his confidence and Leeds fans are delighted for the 19-year-old, who could be ready to finally deliver on his promise at Elland Road next season.

One fan said that he was destined for greatness, while another told him to look after his knees ready for the start of next season with Leeds.
