Caixinha raves about 21-year-old after Rangers breeze past Dundee
By James Black
After taking his goals tally to seven in five games for Rangers, Pedro Caixinha insists that striker Alfredo Morelos will only continue to improve at Ibrox.
The Colombian forward scored twice against Dundee as the Gers breezed to 4-1 over Neil McCann’s side and Caixinha believes Morelos will be given all the tools to be a success in Glasgow.
Speaking to Rangers TV, and quoted on Rangers official website, the Ibrox manager said said: “Alfredo has already scored five goals in the league and two more in the League Cup.
“We know he is a powerful boy and he is one boy who is learning how to be professional at this level and at this massive club.
“We need to give him the right tools in the right moment and everybody is involved in that and everybody is committed to that situation but the first one who is committed is Alfredo.”

Morelos opened the scoring four minutes before half-time after Daniel Candeias’ lovely backheeled pass before grabbing a second with five minutes left in the game when he beat Scott Bain at his near-post from a near-impossible angle.
The 21-year-old striker now has five league goals to his name and another two in the League Cup after his £1million move from Finnish side HJK Helsinki in the summer.
Morelos has quickly become a fan favourite at Ibrox and the player known as ‘El Bufalo’ has given fans plenty of reasons to praise their new striker.
Doubles in consecutive games has taken the powerful striker to the top of the Scottish Premiership goalscoring charts, alongside Rangers outcast Michael O’Halloran, as Morelos continues to score for fun.
Before joining Rangers, Morelos helped himself to a remarkable 46 goals in 62 games for HJK Helsinki so it should come as no surprise he has continued to score in Scotland.
