Callum Hudson-Odoi reacts to Nottingham Forest message after England snub
Callum Hudson-Odoi was controversially left out of the England squad and has now reacted to their post on social media.
The 24-year-old winger, and teammate Morgan Gibbs-White were both initially left out of Thomas Tuchel’s first squad as England manager, despite having remarkable seasons for Nottingham Forest.
The former Wolves attacking midfielder was then included as a late replacement, for the injured Cole Palmer.
However, there remains no place for Hudson-Odoi, in spite of his resurgence in Nottingham this season, but he’s showing no signs of resentment.
The ex-Chelsea winger joined for free in last season, and is beginning to fulfil the lofty expectations placed upon him earlier in his career.

Nottingham Forest post Callum Hudson-Odoi message
Despite being left out of the national set-up, Hudson-Odoi reported for training with Forest as usual, with the club looking to astonishingly qualify for the Champions League this season.
The club posted a series of images on their Instagram page, captioned: “All smiles at HQ.”
Hudson-Odoi then liked the message, and the ex-Bayer Leverkusen seems to be enjoying his time with the Tricky Trees, despite being overlooked by his former manager Tuchel.
Forest will face Brighton following the commencement of the international break, in a crucial FA Cup quarter-final on 29 March.

Football Insider Verdict
Tottenham were interested in signing Hudson-Odoi in January, but the former Chelsea man chose to stay with his current club, in spite of the interest.
With the benefit of hindsight, it was a brilliant move by the 24-year-old, who has scored five Premier League goals for his side, only three behind his total last season.
Whilst Spurs have slipped down to 14th, the Tricky Trees have kicked on and sit third, five points ahead of fourth placed Chelsea.

Hudson-Odoi was regarded as one of the most exciting talents in world football as a teenager, but injuries and a failed move to Bayern Munich seemed to have curtailed his promising career.
However, the trust that Nuno Espirito Santo has shown in the 24-year-old, and a brilliant on-field partnership with Chris Wood have been a gamechanger, and the winger will want to continue his good form, in the hope that it can change Tuchel’s mind the next time he builds his England squad.
