Campbell: Raphinha is suffering 'burnout' at Leeds as dreadful new stats revealed
Kevin Campbell fears Raphinha is “suffering from burnout” at Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker claimed a busy schedule has caught up with the 24-year-old who has set the Premier League alight in his first season at Elland Road.
Raphinha produced an uncharacteristically poor display on Saturday, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side shared a goalless draw with Chelsea.
The Brazilian winger misplaced 50 per cent of his attempted passes and was successful in just 29 per cent of his dribbles and 27 per cent of his duels. (Wyscout)
His 23 Premier League appearances this season have yielded five goals and five assists.
Campbell believes Raphinha, who has started 20 consecutive league games, may need a rest.

“I think he is suffering from burnout,” he told Football Insider.
“We are at that stage of the season where players are starting to feel it a little bit. A lot of players are getting tired and Raphinha is no different.
“Bielsa may look at giving him a rest in the next game as he has played a lot of football. Regardless, he has had a very good first season in England.”
Football Insider understands Liverpool are one of a number of clubs tracking Raphinha’s progress after an impressive first season at Elland Road.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds on the winger’s future, Leeds’ sporting director Victor Orta said the club had received no approaches and issued a hands-off warning to suitors.
