Campbell shares bold Lundstram prediction after Rangers signing confirmed
Kevin Campbell has backed John Lundstram to take his game to “the next level” under Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said Lundstram, 27, is a signing who will “definitely” strengthen the Light Blues.
The Gers confirmed the signing of Lundstram on a free transfer on Monday following his release from Sheffield United.
The centre-midfielder put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Ibrox.
He joins Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack, Steve Davis, Nnamdi Ofoborh, Joe Aribo and Scott Arfield in a formidable looking midfield in Glasgow.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Lundstram’s arrival, Campbell said: “What a signing that is.

“He is such a strong, combative, fit, competitive midfielder. He has shown us that in his two seasons in the Premier League.
“When you win the league you cannot rest on your laurels. You have to look at how you can make the squad better and Lundstram definitely does that, 100 per cent. It’s a really smart move from Rangers.
“I’m sure Lundstram is very excited to play under Steven Gerrard as well. He’ll take his game to the next level.”
Lundstram made 62 Premier League appearances for Sheffield United and contributed five goals and five assists in that time.
A product of Everton’s academy, Lundstram has been capped by England at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level.
