Campbell 'wowed' by Leeds star Raphinha and claims 'people are taking him seriously now'
Kevin Campbell has heaped praise on Raphinha after footage emerged of the Leeds United winger on international duty.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said the 24-year-old has put an end to any doubts over his pedigree at the top level after his performances for Brazil.
Raphinha has mightily impressed in his first two games for Brazil.
According to Brazil Edition, the winger contributed two assists, four key passes and two take-ons in his two substitute appearances.
Speaking to UOL on Monday, Brazil and Chelsea star Thiago Silva heaped praise on his teammate Raphinha for his impact on the national side.
When asked by Football Insider assistant editor Dylan Childs for his assessment of the Rapinha, Campbell said: “People are taking him seriously now.

“He has been great for Leeds but there will still be doubters thinking, ‘Let’s just see how he does on the international stage.’
“And, wow, he made a serious impact. He was very productive in that first game. It doesn’t get much better than two assists on your debut really.
“I really like him. [Marcelo] Bielsa will just want him back in one piece now.”
Speaking to UOL, Silva said: “It’s really cool to see Raphinha and Antony showing personality.
“In terms of rapport, it is a little lacking, but the individual is at a high level.”
