
Caoimhin Kelleher keen to quit Liverpool for Premier League rivals – sources
Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is keen to join a Premier League club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed last month (21 May) that Kelleher, 25, is planning to push for a move away from Anfield.
The Republic of Ireland international is keen to become the number-one shot-stopper elsewhere after seeing his opportunities limited in recent years.
Celtic are interested in the Liverpool back-up star following the retirement of Joe Hart at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (3 June) that the Parkhead club will find it hard to meet Liverpool’s valuation of Kelleher this summer as they plot a move worth up to £10million.

And in a further blow to Brendan Rodgers’ transfer plans, it is believed the Irish ace is prioritising a move within the Premier League after impressing during his opportunities at Liverpool.
He made 26 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool in the 2023-24 campaign, including 10 games in the English top flight.
Kelleher kept five clean sheets and conceded 32 goals in those outings.

The Cork-born star is under contract at Anfield until June 2026 after penning his last extension three years ago.
He joined from Ringmahon in 2015 and has risen through the youth ranks to be the backup to global star Alisson Becker.
