Celtic are confident of beating Rangers to the loan signing of Liverpool right winger Harry Wilson, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun claim the Hoops have leapfrogged their bitter rivals from the other side of Glasgow in the race for the Wales international.
It is said that Wilson, 21, will sign a new contract with Liverpool before being farmed out next season amid interest from Celtic, Rangers and Hull City.
Celtic are looking for new attacking talent, particularly on the flanks, following the exits of Stuart Armstrong and ex-loanee Patrick Roberts.
They have set their sights on Wilson after he made the step up to the English Championship from the Liverpool youth team appear an easy one, scoring seven goals and supplying four assists from 13 league matches last season.
