'Utter gem', 'Unreal' - Celtic fans lose their minds over player display v Aberdeen

Celtic fans were blown away by Kristoffer Ajer’s performance in the 2-0 win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership clash between the sides on Sunday.
The Norwegian has become a mainstay in Brendan Rodgers’ starting XI over the last few months and has consistently impressed Celtic fans with his composed performances in central defence.
The 19-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Hoops this season as Celtic have struggled with a series of injuries to key defenders giving Ajer an opportunity to impress.
Hoops fans think they have a real talent on their hands in the Norwegian Under-21 international – with one fan calling him an “utter gem.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Ajer joined the Glasgow giants from Norwegian’s Start in June 2016 and spent the second-half of last season on loan at Kilmarnock, making 17 appearances for the Rugby Park side as they avoided relegation from the Scottish Premiership..
The defender is under contract with the Hoops until the summer of 2020 and fans will be hoping he stays at Celtic Park long beyond that if his early performances for the Scottish champions are anything to go by.
Ajer’s start against Aberdeen was his 14th consecutive start for Brendan Rodgers’ side after coming into the starting XI against Partick Thistle in December.
