Celtic fans react to confirmation 26-year-old regular missing from clash v Rangers
By Danny Wright
Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to poke fun at Rangers after Rob Kiernan’s suspension was extended to two games.
The SFA announced on Thursday that the 24-year-old’s ban will now mean he will miss Sunday’s Old Firm clash between the two Glasgow rivals.
Kiernan has been in poor form for the Light Blues this season which has led Celtic fans to claim that they are gutted that he will not be able to continue his terrible season against them.
The centre-back was sent off for a reckless lunge on St Johnstone’s Graham Cummins on March 1.
Despite being down to 10 men, Kiernan’s teammates managed to pull off a 3-2 win courtesy of a late goal from Emerson Hyndman.

The former Wigan and Birmingham player will now miss the next two Rangers games after the club appealed against his red card which means he will also miss the Light Blues’ next home game against Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic fans were quick to poke fun at their rivals on social media after the news was broke.
Here is a selection of tweets from Celtic fans about Kiernan’s suspension:

Kiernan has made 30 appearances for Gers in all competitions this season and has scored one goal while playing the centre of defence.
He has been the preferred option in the backline ahead of Danny Wilson and Philippe Senderos who have been sparsely used by both Mark Warburton and Graeme Murty this season.
In other Celtic news, Pedro Caixinha sent a message to the club in 2015 which will leave Rangers fans furious.
