Can only be good for Scottish Football 🙂 Might not be so good for rangers trying to stop 10 in a row but be at least 3 or 4 more press at their games so that will make up for it 🙂 #CelticFC #celtic #stevegerrard #stevieg #hesstillatim 😆

Former Liverpool and Scotland Midfielder Gary McAllister is set to join as Gerrard’s assistant with The Scottish Sun reporting that David Skrtel is set to become the first signing of the new era at Ibrox, as a player-coach.
Gerrard faces a baptism of fire in his first ever managerial post, as he takes charge of a Gers side who seem miles behind bitter rivals Celtic both on and off the park.
It will be interesting to see how Gerrard faces against his former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, but it will be vital that the new man gets off to a good start to his new job next season or he will be under pressure.
