Celtic fans have expressed their hopefulness on Twitter after a recent report detailed that former loan star Patrick Roberts was set to return to the club.
The Daily Record revealed that another loan move for the 20-year-old Manchester City starlet is due to be announced next week after the two clubs reach a final agreement.
Roberts spent the duration of the 2016/17 season at Brendan Rodgers’ side and the winger impressed both the fans and his temporary boss.
Fans were incredibly disappointed to wave goodbye to the England Under 20 international at the end of the previous season, but now supporters have expressed their hopefulness on social media that he will return.

The young City ace has featured in a total of 47 games across all competitions since moving to Parkhead on loan in February 2016, and he has scored 11 goals and provided an impressive 19 assists.
Celtic appreciated his pace and talent on the pitch during his year and a half spell, but the Bhoys have still managed to win every single one of their competitive matches of the 2017/18 season so far despite his absence.
In contrast, Roberts has made just three appearances for Premier League giants Manchester City and has failed to be picked by Pep Guardiola.
