Celtic fans have expressed their delight on Twitter after the club confirmed that former defender Kolo Toure had arrived back to the club as a member of the coaching staff.
The 36-year-old initially joined the Hoops last summer as a free agent and went on to make 20 appearances during the 2016/17 season.
The Bhoys announced that Toure had returned as the club’s new technical assistant on Celtic’s official Twitter account and official website on Friday.
Fans are delighted with the appointment and believe that his experience is invaluable, while other supporters jokingly asked whether the ex-centre-back could feature in the squad to face Ross County on Saturday.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Think he could sort out or defence issues for a few weeks if he had a player/assistant contract 👍🏻🍀

Toure will be working closely with the boss and his coaching staff as the Hoops host Ross County in the Premiership with the hopes of retaining their unbeaten run in the competition so far.
The Bhoys’ weekend opponents currently sit at ninth position in the top flight standings while Rodgers’ side are at the summit of the table with 13 points after securing four wins and a draw.
