'In a heartbeat' - Celtic fans react on Twitter to reported interest in PL speed machine
By Will Butcher
Celtic fans have urged their club on Twitter to complete the signing of Chelsea winger Charly Musonda after a report linked him to the club.
The Daily Mail claim Brendan Rodgers is eyeing the Blues youngster after the Belgian enjoyed a hugely successful season in Spain’s top tier with Real Betis this season.
It is believed that Brazil international Lucas Leiva is also on Rodgers’ hitlist, after the duo worked together during Rodgers’ time as manager of Liverpool
Known for his blistering pace, Musonda also has an eye for goal and the ability to provide an assist for a teammate and could prove to be the perfect replacement for Patrick Roberts.
The Daily Mail claimed City are looking to loan Roberts to only a Premier League side or abroad this summer, which could be the reason behind Rodgers’ reported interest in Musonda.

Borini, McGinn, Roberts, Lucas, Musonda & Solanke would be a great transfer window if we got them but I won't hold my breath.

Solanke and Musonda are young and promising. Plavsic looks not bad. McGinn would be okay as a backup but think he'd be mostly wasted here

Haven't seen much of Solanke mate but Musonda is a cracker. Not getting my hopes up ????

I wouldn't mind Musonda from Chelsea though, he looks promising.

Him and Dom Solanke would expect great.

Musonda has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2019 and is unlikely to leave on a permanent basis if he was to make the move north to Glasgow.
