Celtic fans have slammed Eboue Kouassi for his performance in the 1-0 shock defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday.
Kouassi, 20, was named to start just his fourth Scottish Premiership game of the season, but fans were less than impressed by the defensive midfielder.
The Ivorian regularly gifted possession to Killie as the Hoops found it tough to break down Steve Clarke’s resilient side.
He also have away numerous fouls and was booked in the 13th minute for a foul on winger Jordan Jones.
Brendan Rodgers took the decision to take Kouassi off in the 70th minute, just after Youssouf Mulumbu put Kilmarnock ahead.
One supporter claimed that Kouassi’s performance on Saturday was “hopeless”, while another blasted him for being a “duff buy”.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
Credit where it's due, Kilmarnock have been compact & excellent defensively. Steve Clarke should be next Scotland manager. However we have been poor. Eboue Kouassi the worst offender for giving up possession, while Musonda & Dembele have been isolated & given no space to exploit.

Kouassi looks like an average player at best. He shouldn't be playing today. I dont often criticise Brendan but Kouassi looks like a duff buy. Cant pass or tackle and just runs around like a schoolboy, chasing the ball but never getting it much.

Kouassi has made just eight appearances in all competitions for Celtic this season.
The midfielder was signed by Rodgers in January 2017 from Russian club Krasnodar for what STV reported to be a deal worth £3million.
However the 20-year-old has struggled to make much of an impact at Parkhead and has only recently started to appear more often due to the amount of injuries plaguing Rodgers’ squad.
In over 12 months in Glasgow, the Ivorian has played just 14 times in total.
In other Celtic news, Rangers have been tipped by the bookies to sign this former Hoops forward who is now a free agent.
