'Hopeless', 'Awful' - Celtic fans tear into one player for display in win v Anderlecht
By Danny Wright
Celtic fans have destroyed Olivier Ntcham for his performance in the 3-0 win against Anderlecht on Wednesday night.
Ntcham, 21, impressed the Hoops supporters on Twitter for the role he played in Leigh Griffiths’ goal in the first half when he fed in Kieran Tierney to put a stunning cross in for the Scottish forward.
However for the rest of the game, they were largely unimpressed with his ability both on and off the ball and demanded Brendan Rodgers’ to get him off the pitch.
Ntcham was brought into Rodgers’ starting line-up in place of Stuart Armstrong after the ex-Dundee United man starred in the Old Firm win over Rangers at the weekend.
It was the only change that the Bhoys boss decided to make for the big Champions League group stage clash in Brussels, but fans made it clear that the Northern Irishman made a huge mistake for bringing the Frenchman in and tore into him for his display on Twitter.

Half time at the Celtic game. 3.40am here in China. Ntcham had a shocker apart from that pass. McGregor/Armstrong/Dembele on in the 2nd half

Apart from a fantastic pass for goal Ntcham has been wasteful.
the amount of passes we have made is awesome

When you see that cross/ball in from Tierney, it’s inch perfect. The weight on it is bang on.. Ntcham pass aside has been hopeless

Other than that pass Ntcham has been terrible. Looks nervous again. Rogic just can't get into it either. Big 2nd half

Ntcham has been ever-present for Celtic since signing from Manchester City in the summer with the French midfielder making 12 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals in the process which came against Astana and Partick Thistle.
