Celtic have chance to move even further ahead as bitter rivals descend into chaos
Celtic have already shown on the pitch that they are streets ahead of bitter rivals Rangers, and with the way things are going off the pitch that doesn’t look like changing any time soon.
The Ibrox club seem to be in chaos, as the Scottish Sun is reporting that both Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace are set to be suspended by the Gers following a bust-up with manager Graeme Murty after the 4-0 hammering by the Hoops in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Whilst Hoops fans are no doubt in fits of laughter at the latest problem to face their great rivals, the Hoops can use the ongoing issues at Ibrox to move even further ahead in Scotland, and beyond.
Whilst others might try and talk up the likes of Hibernian and Aberdeen, the Hoops’ biggest rivals will always be Rangers, and the staff at Celtic Park would no doubt agree with that, and Brendan Rodgers will be watching on and thinking that a few good signings in the summer should put the Bhoys in a different league from the rest of Scottish football.
In the past the Hoops have stood still and failed to press home their advantage over their greatest rivals, this time with the Gers at a very low ebb there can be no repeat of those mistakes.
