Celtic have easy Oskar Wojcik decision to make after transfer admission
Celtic must promise Oskar Wojcik regular first-team football to ensure the defender makes a summer move to Parkhead.
The 22-year-old centre-back has been linked with a move to the Hoops after an impressive campaign with Cracovia.
Wojcik helped the side remain in the Polish top-flight as they finished 12th in the division.
Now, amid speculation that he could leave the club this summer, he has stated this will only become a reality if he is granted regular playing time.
Celtic must grant this wish, with Wojcik having the potential to be a transformative signing at Parkhead.

Celtic’s defensive troubles were well-documented this season.
The club were struggling to keep clean sheets and were highly fortunate that this did not prevent them from winning a domestic double.
| Oskar Wojcik’s league stats this season | Per 90 minutes |
| Tackles | 1.37 |
| Interceptions | 1.83 |
| Recoveries | 3.56 |
| Clearances | 6.41 |
| Clean sheets | 0.36 |
Solving this problem has to be one of the biggest targets for the Hoops this summer as they aim to improve the quality of their squad.
Luckily, Wojcik has some stunning stats, with every sign suggesting that he would be an excellent addition to the squad.
However, a potential stumbling block for Celtic is the defender’s recent admission to TVPSPORT.PL, that he wants regular football.
He said: “Simply put, if an offer comes along with an interesting plan, a vision for development, we’ll consider it. It’s not like I hear a name, the first club that comes along, and I already want to leave Poland.
“All of this needs to be thoroughly analysed. The most important thing is that I don’t want to join a club just to be there. I want to play and become a better player.
“My heart definitely tells me to stay at Cracovia, because it’s my club, which has great and supportive fans. I never imagined I could get so much from the fans.
“On the other hand… there are dreams. I’ve always imagined playing in one of the five best leagues in Europe.”
However, Celtic should not hesitate to give in to this demand. Wojcik is clearly a great centre-back and would likely start anyway.
Therefore, the Hoops should just pay the £4.2million asking price and bring the defender in as soon as possible.
Who else are Celtic looking to sign?
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Celtic are readying a move for Gyor midfielder Milan Vitalis.
The Hoops have kept tabs on the Hungarian international for a number of months, and he has just lifted the top-flight title in his home country.
Vitalis is seen as a player with “real potential” to improve in the coming years, and there is a belief that he could make an immediate impact.
Reports suggest that Celtic may have to fight off Rangers and Aberdeen for his signature, with both clubs also linked.
However, it remains to be seen if Celtic are able to win the race for his signature, with the club yet to even decide who will be their manager for the 2026-27 campaign.
