Celtic injury boost as Rodgers confirms attacker return v St Mirren

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Patrick Roberts is back from his injury in time for the weekend.
The Bhoys host St Mirren on Sunday in the Scottish cup quarter-final and will be hoping to continue their unbeaten domestic run.
Rodgers has revealed that attacker Roberts is available to make his comeback, but James Forrest remains sidelined, as cited by the club’s official Twitter account.

Roberts is currently on an 18-month loan deal from Manchester City and has impressed during his time with the Scottish giants.
The winger has been absent recently with a hamstring injury, but is set to give the side a massive boost with his return.

The Bhoys have been in sensational attacking form this season and Rodgers has insisted on playing an attractive style of football.
Moussa Dembele, Leigh Griffiths and Scott Sinclair have all been prolific in front of goal as a result, while youngster Roberts has also impressed.
The 20-year-old has made 33 appearances this season across all competitions and chipped in with five goals.
The skilful attacker has also provided nine assists this campaign and been incredibly selfless in front of goal.
He will hope to play a part in the cup match against St Mirren and has been a regular starter under Rodgers.
Man City will have been closely monitoring his development at Celtic and he has certainly proved his qualities so far in Scotland.
