Celtic must strike or see reported move for goal machine vanish as 'one hell' of a deal tabled
Celtic are in hot pursuit of Hull City striker Abel Hernandez who the Hoops have already launched a “monster” of a swoop for, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
But with the Tigers manager Nigel Adkins stating that the club have offered the hitman “one hell of a contract” the Hoops could see their offer go up in smoke.
This means there can be no time to waste in the hunt for the 27-year-old who has been ripping the Championship apart since his return to the side following a lengthy spell on the sidelines through surgery to repair an Achilles tendon injury.
Since the Uruguyan’s comeback into the team, in only eight starts, the forward has notched up eight goals which have seen the likes of Aston Villa, Olympiacos, and Newcastle all sit up and take notice.
Hull are evidently keen to hold onto the attacker which is why Adkins so brazenly came out with his “one hell of a contract” quote but at the same time admitted that no deal was done and dusted.

This is why the Hoops must be swift, decisive, and cut-throat in their quest to land the Championship’s goalmachine because if they don’t, there are a whole host of teams who will.
