Celtic must treat potential title party like any other game and not like hysteria take over
Celtic are on the verge of clinching their seventh league title in a row, and even better for the club’s supporters, it could be won against their bitter rivals Rangers on Sunday.
However, to ensure that the Hoops get the three points won, they must avoid falling into the trap of making the game about more than three points. They must treat the game just like any other game.
For the club’s support, it is a day that fans have been waiting on for years. The last time the Hoops could have clinched the title against their great rivals was at Ibrox in 2012, but they slumped to a 3-2 defeat.
This occasion is completely different to that one though, as the Hoops will be at home to 53,000 extremely expectant fans.
There is nothing more that the Gers would like to do than spoil the party, and they will no doubt try and stop the Hoops from playing football, by breaking up the game, committing niggly fouls, etc.

The players and the fans can’t panic if the Hoops are goalless at half-time, or even go a goal behind.
If the players and the fans keep their cool and avoid the inevitable hysteria that will surround the game, then the Bhoys will no doubt pull off the win that will give them the three points they need to win the league.
