Celtic seem likely to play a back three against Rangers in the upcoming Old Firm derby on Sunday, and it looks like one of those players will be Jozo Simunovic.
The Serbian defender has had an up and down season to put it mildly, and he will have to up his game considerably for the top of the table clash.
On thing which may help the 23-year-old is that Marvin Compper seems certain to start the game.
Compper might only be playing in his second game for the Hoops if he starts the derby, but he has the experience of playing in both Germany and Italy, and could guide Simunovic through the game.
Simunovic played poorly against both Zenit and Aberdeen in recent weeks, but the Hoops were fortunate enough to get the win over Dons.
He can’t afford to turn in a similar performance against Rangers or the Hoops could well find themselves on the end of a defeat.
Simunovic should just keep things simple. Nothing fancy, just clear the ball when it comes to you and that will get the job done.
There’s no need to overthink things if you aren’t good enough, and keeping things simple will be a key to Simunovic having a good day at Ibrox.
In other Celtic news, the Hoops have been linked with Wigan’s Nick Powell
