Chariman speaks out on Crystal Palace ace Zaha, Tottenham fans will be interested

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is confident that playmaker Wilfried Zaha will still be at Selhurst Park next season.
The Daily Mirror report that Tottenham are confident of signing the £30million-rated attacker in the summer window.
It is understood that Mauricio Pochettino is a long-term admirer of the winger and Spurs feel they can finally get their man after seeing a £12million bid rejected last summer.
However, Parish admits it will be unlikely that the 24-year-old departs in the next transfer window and that he will help Palace with their climb up the Premier League table.
“It will be really hard for him to go in the summer, really difficult,” Parish told Sky Sports. “We’re confident [he will stay]. Wilfred is focused on the end of the season and keeping us in the division.

“He’s been here since he was very young. We’ll sit down at the end of the season and I’m very confident we can keep him. We’re looking to improve the squad and improve the squad and Wilfried is an intrinsic part of what we’re doing.”
Spurs are looking to establish themselves as one of the leading sides in England and are second in the Premier League table this season, just seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
Pocehttino will surely be keen to bolster his squad in the summer and Zaha has been named as a major target.
The wide man is enjoying his best season to date for Palace and helped them pull clear of the relegation places.
He has made 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and supplying 11 assists in return.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club’s senior figure is subject to a summer tug-of-war.
