Charlie Taylor delivers message to Leeds supporters
By Amir Mir
Charlie Taylor has stated that he “can’t wait to be back” after Leeds manager Garry Monk confirmed that he is set to return to training.
The 23-year-old has been out of action for the Whites since their 1-0 home win against Brentford in mid-December due to injury.
Monk stated that Taylor is not far off from full fitness as he aims to stamp his authority on the team following a two-month Achilles injury lay off.
The Whites travel to Portman Road on Saturday afternoon to take on Ipswich as Monk hopes his side can continue their promotion run.
Ahead of that encounter, left-back Taylor sent this encouraging message to supporters as posted on his personal Twitter account.

Prior to his injury, Taylor had played 25 Championship and EFL Cup matches for his side, supplying three assists and helping them secure nine clean sheets.
During Taylor’s absence, the experienced Gaetano Berardi has been filling in defense alongside Pontus Jansson, Kyle Bartley, and Luke Ayling.
Furthermore, during that time, the Yorkshire club have lost three of their ten matches in the league, securing six wins.
They have suffered two defeats in their last three matches, but Monk’s side still remain in the top six as they are on course to compete for a place in the Premier League next term.
