Chelsea are ‘not happy’ with Alejandro Garnacho as Liam Rosenior concerns grow
Chelsea are not happy with Alejandro Garnacho amid concerns he is now showing the negative traits which prompted Man United to move him on.
The Blues spent £40million to being the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge last summer but have been far from impressed with his output since the move.
Liam Rosenior has largely backed the Argentina international as part of his first-team plans, but after a dismal run of form, may now be having second thoughts.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that there where whispers at Old Trafford about Garnacho’s attitude before he was allowed to move on.
Now, concerns about his work ethic alongside a lack of productivity up front could mean Chelsea have doubts about his future ahead of the transfer window.

Football Insider previously reported that Chelsea fans are not happy with Garnacho and his recent performances, and that discontent is echoed by the club.
After spending a big fee to lure him away from Old Trafford last summer, they had hoped for far more from the talented winger than what he has shown so far.

While there are no immediate plans to move him on at the end of the season, their unhappiness will only continue to grow unless he gets his head down.
“Chelsea are concerned about Garnacho’s performances,” Brown told Football Insider.
“There were issues with him during his time at Man United that it seems are coming up again now at Chelsea, both on and off the pitch.
“He never looked completely committed on the pitch, he’s not the sort of player to get his head down, work hard and battle to get into a game.
“He’s a bit soft as well, goes to ground very easily and rolls around to sway the referee, but they’ve cottoned onto that now so often he doesn’t get the decision.
“And in the final third, he’s wasteful, he’s not giving anywhere near the end product you would hope for a player who was bought for £40million.
“It seems Liam Rosenior likes him, but even he is getting frustrated because he’s not showed up during this awful run of form they’re on at the moment.
“From a Chelsea point of view, you’d be wondering why all that money was spent on him, because even at Man United there was talk about his attitude and things like that.
“He needs to prove himself quickly because otherwise real questions are going to be asked about where he fits in at Chelsea, if not this summer then further down the road.”
Pressure building on Liam Rosenior after sack news
Garnacho is not the only source of frustration for the Chelsea board as things stand, with pressure ramping up on Rosenior’s position in the dugout.
A 3-0 defeat against Everton last time out has piled on the pressure following dismal performances against Newcastle and PSG which have come as major blows.

Brown told Football Insider on 23 March that Rosenior is facing serious questions at Chelsea with the Blues set to make a decision about his future.
The Blues have dropped to sixth place in the Premier League table, one point behind Liverpool in fifth and six behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
While they have no immediate plans to sack Rosenior, pressure on his position is growing and there are doubts about how long he will remain in his post.
