Chelsea fans react on Twitter to shock Liverpool defeat

Liverpool suffered a devastating 4-3 defeat against Bournemouth on Sunday – and Chelsea fans were quick to mock their title rivals on Twitter.

The Reds were in a great position to win the game as they led 3-1 in the second-half, but Ryan Fraser and Steve Cook levelled the scoreline in a dramatic match.

Nathan Ake, who is on loan from Chelsea, then scored a 93rd minute winner as he pouncedon a Loris Karius mistake.

Liverpool remain third-placed in the Premier League table and are four points behind leaders Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp’s 15-game unbeaten run was ended by Bournemouth’s heroics at Dean Court and they will be looking to respond against relegation-threatened West Ham in their next game.

Chelsea and Liverpool are regarded as two of the leading clubs in the race for the Premier League title this season, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United also mentioned.

Antonio Conte’s side set out a huge statement by beating Man City on Saturday at the Etihad and they have won their last eight league games.

Liverpool have also spent time at the league’s summit and will look to return their during the busy December period.
