Sources: Chelsea submitting £14m Cristiano Ronaldo bid after new talks
Chelsea are preparing a £14million bid for Man United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Football Insider understands.
The London giants are planning to follow up their interest in the forward, 37, with a firm offer following talks between owner Todd Boehly and manager Thomas Tuchel.
A Chelsea source has told Football Insider that the club are readying a £14m move for Ronaldo as they look to recruit a second attacking star.

The Londoners have already agreed a £45million deal for Raheem Sterling with Man City and are expected to complete the transfer by the end of the week.
Now they are in the market for a second big-name forward as Tuchel looks to reshape his attack.
Ronaldo wants to quit United after just a year and new manager Erik Ten Hag is, in turn, willing to let him go and get his huge salary off the wage bill.
The all-time great has just one year remaining on on his contract at Old Trafford after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal upon his arrival from Juventus in 2021.
There is the option of a further year.
He scored 24 goals from 38 matches in all competitions for United last season, mainly operating in a central striker role.
Chelsea face competition for Ronaldo from rival clubs competing in next season’s Champions League.

Chelsea, who could let Hakim Ziyech join Milan on loan, are also focused on strengthening their defence after losing Andreas Christensen to Barcelona and Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid.
In other news, Ziyech could be first of three big-name exits from Chelsea after Sky update.
