‘Chelsea to commit Jadon Sancho robbery on Man United’ – Fans jump at latest

Chelsea fans are unanimous in their opinion on what the club should do with Jadon Sancho this summer after his performance against Ipswich.

Sancho enjoyed a fine start to his Chelsea career after joining on loan in the summer, but his performances have cooled off since.

With the battle for Champions League places the fiercest it has been in years, the Blues welcomed a beleaguered Ipswich to Stamford Bridge, in the hopes of consolidating their place in the Premier League’s top five.

However, goals from Julio Enciso and Ben Johnson stunned Chelsea, giving the Tractor Boys a two goal lead in the first-half.

The Blues showed more fight in the second half, and Axel Tuanzebe turned a cross from Tottenham target Noni Madueke into his own net.

With time running low, Sancho picked up the ball from a short-corner, took a touch, swivelled, and whipped a stunning effort into the top corner to rescue a point for his side.

Chelsea must decide on Jadon Sancho summer plans after penalty fee emerges

When the 25-year-old signed for the Blues from Man United, the deal was understood to contain a £25million obligation to buy.

An interesting development that has since emerged is that the “obligation” is not actually obligatory, as Chelsea have an option to cancel Sancho’s loan for a £5million penalty fee.

The get-out clause now gives the Blues cause for deliberation. The on-loan England international has shown flashes of brilliance but has not consistently impressed during his time at Stamford Bridge.

However, Sancho has impressed Enzo Maresca with his work effort and Mykhailo Mudryk’s uncertain future may push the West London side towards completing the ex-Man City man’s deal.

Chelsea fans want Jadon Sancho permanently after wonder-strike vs Ipswich

Whilst Chelsea seem to be biding their time before committing one way or another on the ex-Dortmund man, the Blues’ fans seem set on what they want their club to do.

Sancho’s brilliant goal against Ipswich convinced supporters the club should sign him permanently this summer with the strike “very important”.

One fan described the £25million fee as a “robbery”, whilst another said, “Chelsea simply cannot afford to miss out on signing him permanently”.
