‘Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga training at Arsenal already’
Kepa Arrizabalga is expected to make a move from Chelsea to Arsenal in the coming days but it has been revealed that the keeper is already training with his new club.
The 30-year-old joined the Blues back in 2018 for just over £70million, making him the most expensive goalkeeper ever at the time.
However, for the past two campaigns the Spaniard has been out on loan, having spells at Real Madrid and Bournemouth respectively.
Last season, Kepa impressed on the south coast for the Cherries, helping Andoni Iraola’s side to a ninth-place finish in the Premier League.

Arsenal’s move for Kepa is ‘done’
Arsenal’s interest in Kepa was revealed earlier this month, with the Gunners looking for a backup to number one goalkeeper David Raya.
Last season, the Gunners had Neto on loan from Bournemouth as their number two shot-stopper, but the Brazilian was heavily criticised when he stepped in for Raya.
Mikel Arteta’s side are yet to confirm an incoming this summer, despite rumours that their move for Kepa is a certainty.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (28 June), former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino revealed that the goalkeeper is already settling in at the Gunners, saying: “I was told by a friend who knows quite well that Kepa has been training with Arsenal in the last week, and that deal will get done.”
Arsenal on the brink with a number of deals
Football Insider Verdict
Kepa is not the only player who looks certain to be at the Emirates next season, with the Gunners close to completing two more moves.
Arsenal have held a long-term interest in Martin Zubimendi, and the belief is that the deal is effectively done, with the confirmation expected later in the window.
In more good news for Gunners fans, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Arsenal are planning a “shock” move to sign Brentford captain Christian Norgaard.
The deal for Norgaard is reportedly worth around £10million, and it would be a useful addition to the North London side, without draining too much of the budget.
The Bees man would be coming in as a replacement for Thomas Partey, who will leave Arsenal following the expiration of his contract.
